Safari starts and ends in Johannesburg
Visit a private game reserve, Kruger National Park, and the stunning mountain country of the Mpumalanga region, just east of Johannesburg. Group size is limited to 9 passengers, travel is in a luxury microbus, minicoach or sedan and accommodation is in comfortable hotels and ldoges.
THE ITINERARY
1ST Day – Private Game Reserve, Lodge accommodation, 1 night
Leave Johannesburg and travel via the historic towns of Dullstroom, Lydenburg and over the Abel Erasmus Pass. After passing through the J.G. Strijdom Tunnel, marvel at the mountainous scenery whilst passing through a homeland, formerly known as Lebowa.
Continue to your private game lodge, near the Kruger National Park. Arrive in time for afternoon tea, followed by your evening game drive in an open safari vehicle. Return to the lodge for a diverse array of eclectic cuisine.
Dinner
2nd Day – Kruger National Park, Game Hotel, 1 night
Early morning bush walk, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the smaller species of Africa’s animal kingdom. After breakfast, continue to the world famous Kruger National Park.
Spend the remainder of the day viewing the ‘Big Five’, general game and prolific bird life. Late afternoon arrival at the safari hotel, where dinner will be served in a traditional African Boma (weather permitting).

3rd Day – Game viewing, mountain travel and a Country Lodge for 1 night
Early morning game drive in the Kruger National Park. An open safari vehicle is available as an optional extra. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, travel via Kowyn’s Pass to Graskop. Explore the breathtaking Panorama Route featuring: the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and various waterfalls. Continue with a short visit to the historic town of Pilgrim’s Rest, Mac Mac Waterfalls and Sabie. A superb meal completes the day.

4th Day – safari ends in Johannesburg
After a hearty breakfast on the verandah overlooking the Sabie River, our journey to Johannesburg begins with a visit to the Lone Creek Waterfalls and the small town of Sabie. Travel over the historical Long Tom Pass to the towns of Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Witbank. Our safari ends with drop off at your hotel or Johannesburg International Airport.
